Steven A. Walker is a 2008 magna cum laude graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, where he was an Associate Notes Editor of the Syracuse Law Review and President of the Syracuse University College of Law Tax Society. He received his B.S., with distinction, in Animal Science from Cornell University in 1992. He is a member of the Firm’s Business Practice Group. While attending law school, Steve worked as a law clerk for the Firm.
Steve focuses his practice on general corporate law. He is involved in forming and advising closely-held businesses in many areas including limited liability company formation and planning and succession planning. Prior to attending law school, Steve was a partner of a Central New York dairy and vegetable operation. He also served on several agricultural related boards, including the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and is past chairperson of the New York Beef Industry Council. His extensive background in the dairy industry is particularly useful for understanding and advising agricultural clients.
Steve is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey, and is a member of the New York State and the Onondaga County Bar Associations.
